“INCREDIBLE!”

I rode this several times because I was in such awe that the makers of the ride could make this so detailed and perfect. The dinosaurs look real! It's really incredible.

As for the actual ride, it's really laid back and fun - as though you're going on a nice, calm, cruise, of jurassic p..ark. That is until you take the plunge!

GoPros are not allowed on this ride, but there are some people who brought them on with them. The ride attendants will call you out on them and pause the ride until you put them away.

“Pure prehistoric fun ”

This is one of the more memorable rides for me. I love the John Williams Jurassic Park soundtrack that plays along and the ride is pretty entertaining. Today it looks a bit outdated, especially considering the new Jurassic World movie is out. Recommended (just not highly).

“Not as bad as it may sound”

Pretty decent ride, but I found it a little hyped up! I got sprayed in my face by a dinosaur on the side other then that I would of been dry the whole ride, the drop wasn't nothing to get excited about! The graphics were good and the scenery was cute, but this ride was nothing special to me !

“It's time for a renovation”

I love Jurassic Park movie because of the amazing experience of discovering a new world, this is why I'm disappointed by the quality of this ride.

The Pros: there's water, there's excitement and it's pretty fun.

The Cons: the dinosaurs models are in poor conditions, and it ..seems that nothing have changed since the 90's; the ride is a bit boring and not exciting at all

Universal Studios should take this off and come up with a 3D experience, like they did with King Kong!

“My Favorite Universal Studios Hollywood Ride”

I absolutely love the integration of animatronics in theme park attractions, so I was super excited to ride Jurassic Park. Jurassic Park is a water raft ride that ends with an astounding 84 foot drop. The wait is never very long, and a single rider line is available if you really need it. The ride b..egins with an introduction to the world of Jurassic Park, but you soon realize that things are not all under control at Jurassic Park. The animatronics themselves are mostly good quality. There were a few times I visited and the water level was low enough that you could clearly see the metal supports underneath which took away from the illusion. I love some of the humor thrown in (the Mickey Mouse hat in the water), and the car sequence was really frightening. There were a few animatronics on the climb up the mountain that looked a little too simple, but the T-rex animatronics made up for it.

Summary (1= worst, 5= best)
Wait for Ride: 5
Most of the time you can just walk on. Normally it takes less than 10 minutes to get through. If you are really impatient, a single rider line is available.

Length of Ride: 5
The total time on the ride is 5 minutes 30 seconds. Definitely worth the wait.

Quality of Ride: 3
The animatronics are really awesome, but there were a few times the animatronics were not working and so they had to box them off. There were also several effects that were not working when I rode. In fact, I can't remember a single time when all the animatronics and effects were working at the same time. So, because of the inability to maintain the effects, I'm giving it a 3.

Overall: 4
The number of animatronics and effects make it my favorite Universal Studios Hollywood ride, but because the effects are never fully functional, it can only receive 4 stars.
