This is a great restaurant! The restaurant decor is lovely. Most of the staff are super nice. Our servers personality was delightful. The menu was great, and the server was awesome in putting a rush on the kids' orders since they were starving. The food came out fresh and in a relatively timely.. manner. It was a good change from burgers!
Great place for lunch with the kids! Great service and it was all about character dining!! Can't beat kids loving to see all the characters and taking pictures. The food was pretty good and the experience was great! Price was 35 pp kids under 3 free. Price is steep but definitely worth it.
This is your typical theme park river raft ride. Nothing special about it but it’s fun and YOU WILL GET WET! The rapids are fun and everyone in the raft is usually laughing. The ride is short and the line is long but in the shade. Of course, a great family ride!
This is a very cute 3D show. Again, there are great animatronics incorporated into it. It's also an interactive show so you get to feel and smell things. You get to enjoy getting "stung" or feeling bugs crawling over you AND smell dung beetle output. Very fun and the kids loved it!
This rollercoaster is all sorts of amazing! It's not super crazy, no loops or anything like that but it is so well executed that it makes for a very enjoyable experience! Watch out for the Yeti and the end of the track! This isn't just a ride. It's an experience. The line is usually really long, ..but worth the wait!
This is a great ride! You get a little background story before the ride. Then, you're quickly ushered into the loading section, where you board large SUV type vehicles and begin the ride! Lots of ups, downs, and bumps, which created a more life-like feel while traveling throughout the "Cretaceous.. period". Incredible animatronics and dinosaurs!
This is an actual Jeep ride through “Kilamanjaro”. We didn’t know what this ride was until we got on it and we absolutely loved it!! Most of the animals are roaming free and they can wander right up to your Jeep. I couldn’t believe how close we got to some of the animals. Of course, the ..lions and tigers cannot actually get to you. Make sure you have your camera ready! A definitely must-do from now on!
By far the best restaurant in Epcot! I had the filet and a side order of the mushrooms. The steak was perfectly cooked and the mushrooms were delicious. We were so full that we couldn't have dessert. I'm very happy with the service and the food. It was expensive but a great meal. If you'd like to d..ine there, make your reservation well in advance when you book your trip, otherwise you won't get in.
This is the best food of any of the character dining. Everything is fresh and yummy! They serve the meal family style and they bring as much as you would like. My children liked the characters and the kid friendly food they brought over for them. The restaurant turns as you eat so you can see scen..es from the Land ride. Very cool. Make reservations around lunch for a great dinner!
This was a great German buffet with great entertainment! They have a show during dinner and we absolutely enjoyed the band playing music; especially the bell ringers. So let loose and go dance! The kids loved it! You will definitely need a reservation. This place gets packed!
We always make the effort to get on this ride that just brings back so many good memories as a child at Epcot. This is an oldie but goody. This is a great ride with a history lesson, slow moving ride, view of earth and all the stars, followed by their creation of the future. I especially love th..e "funky" smell in the ride that is so unique!!
Ellen DeGeneres, Bill Nye, Alex Trebek, Jamie Lee Curtis and dinosaurs. When we walked in we had no idea what this ride was, but figured we'd give it a try. It's not the best ride by any means, but it's quirky and weird and honestly doesn't make a lot of sense, but it's fun and all their personaliti..es.
If you go here, make sure you sit by the aquariums. My husband, son, and I were in the upper level with a good view. We shared the appetizer for two which was pretty good. I ate the shrimp and chowder... Both good. My caesar salad was really good. My husband had the lobster pasta which he said wou..ld have been better if it was king crab. My sons pasta was also good. Overall, pretty good food and we liked that aquariums.
This is a very patriotic setting that has a great show and constant entertainment. It is a 30 minute theatrical attraction that uses animatronic figures that look and move like real people and covers events in American history. I thought it was going to be boring but I ended up enjoying it a lot!
Soarin is a must visit! Always a long line but never gets old. Our whole family loves it. If you're lucky to be on top, you really feel in the moment. Flying over streams and canyons, dams and orange tree orchards, they add in alternating scents which are pretty cool. My favorite is the orange bl..ossom. Overall, this is a great sensory ride that I could do over and over. The line is always super long, though.
This is a great family ride. It is a ride in a clamshell that tells the basic points of the finding Nemo movie. I also have to say that they did a cool job with the fish aquariums and placing holograms in them. This ride is great for kids and entertains the whole family. I also have to mention the ..end of the ride it takes you out to an aquarium area which was fun and informative. Definitely a must do especially if you have kids in tow.
This is a very cool simulation of space travel to mars. It can be intense at times so if you don’t like cramped spaces, darkness, or spinning, this ride is not for you. Go through flight training and then launch to the stars. The orange side is more intense than the green. Very cool ride but de..finitely needs to be done on an empty stomach!
I thoroughly enjoyed this ride through agriculture in our world. It was an eye opening experience, to see how much food can be grown in a very small space. This ride is both educational and fun. The first part of the ride takes you through some landscapes and shows you how people live with the lan..d. The second part of the ride focuses on the living greenhouse that the Land Pavillion uses for the restaurants. There is even an area that has fish, eels, and even the American alligators to see from this boat ride.
Figment is one of those characters that stand out in my mind from my childhood. I loved this ride as a kid and have to ride it every time I’m at Epcot. That being said, it is rather boring and needs updating. It's a dark ride that takes you through different senses and explores your imagination..!
This boat ride is a journey through Mexico, all the while chasing down Donald Duck. The part of this boat ride that always stands out in my mind is the beginning as you sail past the Aztec temple under the stars. The Mexico pavillion is just gorgeous inside and you would never guess that from walkin..g by on the outside. The line is usually short and the kids love it.
A cute movie with an environmental theme about recycling with Timon and Pumba. We watched this and thought it was an environmental push for recycling. A good movie if you need a break from the heat and walking. It kept us entertained but we would not go to see it over and over again.
We go to the parade every time we are at WDW and it is great! It makes you feel like a kid again. It is full of energy! Lots of singing and dancing from various characters! It can get crowded so pick a seat early. It is cute and can pump you up if you are in need of a little break.
Carousel of Progress is just good old fashion Disney nostalgic fun. Nothing fancy about it, but it's a good place to get off your feet for a while and be entertained. It is not very innovative, not fast, not new but I love this ride/show. The music and the different looks of the past decades makes.. it a fun attraction but I wish they would update the last scene or add another scene. This is a must do for my family.
On this ride, you sit in a clamshell and move through different scenes of the movie. The animatronics scenes are very well done, and we were pleased to hear several familiar songs from The Little Mermaid. As with all of its Fantasyland predecessors, the Journey attempts to bring a previously told ..story to life, of Ariel, her buddies Flounder and Sebastian amid Ariel’s desire to become human and find her prince in waiting. Ursula and her cronies prowl around the ride, but not enough to give reason for youngsters to be too scared on the ride. Great family ride.
This is not ride but a walk-through treehouse. It is based on the Swiss Family Robinson show. I have always found this very interesting and like to use my imagination on how things might have been for this family. The drawback is that the stairs and walkways are quite steep, so taking a toddler o..n the attraction is not ideal. A must see at least once.
The animatronic figures are fabulous on this ride. Your log boat winds its way through caves, swamps and bayous, and down three minor drops before a huge plunge at the end where YOU WILL GET WET. My family loves this ride and you get truly engrossed in the story. An awesome ride and great for you..ng and old alike.
Absolutely love this ride and have to go on it every time I visit WDW! THIS IS A ROLLERCOASTER IN THE DARK! It doesn't have any "big" drops or loops. The drops gradually curve around and down. There are a few hills that you might lift a little, but nothing extreme. Not a ride for young kids. The.. line is usually long but totally worth it.
The Seven Dwarfs Minetrain ride itself is really well done. It is very smooth and while not fast still moves at a half decent speed. The animatronics are amazing and some of the best around. My only complaint is that the ride is very short! I dont know how long it actually was but it felt like i..t was about a minute long. Still a must do for the family!
I love Pirates of the Caribbean! It's a great story and you become immersed into the setting immediately. The updates to include Captain Jack Sparrow was a great addition to correlate with the movies. The line is inside and cool. It really makes you feel like you are in the world of pirates for a.. bit. Don't miss this one.
You board a pirate ship and take flight high above the streets of London and into Never Never Land. With Peter Pan leading the way, you'll encounter Tinker Bell, the Darlings and Captain Hook! The hapless Smee tries to rescue Hook from the jaws of the Croc at the end of this delightful ride. The ki..ds will love this one.
This is a very funny show that your whole family will enjoy. We have gone to the show several times and each time it is different because they "pick on" different audience members and the jokes differ. You can text your jokes in ahead of time and that's kinda fun to hear yours "read" by Mike. It ho..lds a lot of people, so even when it looks like there is a long line, it moves very fast. Definitely worth a visit at least once or twice.
This ride is basically the same as Dumbo's ride over in Fantasyland. You and your family sit a bright-colored carpet and you control the up and down motion of the car which is great for little kids. You can also aim the carpet down or up. This ride goes in circles and there are camels in the center.. of the ride that "spit" water at you every so often. But don't worry about them, theres a 1/100 chance they actually will hit you.
This is a cute ride through a jungle. You are escorted onto small cruise boats complete with a guide. The guide tells all sorts of corny jokes and narrates the adventure. You basically go through a simulated wild kingdom that includes Africa, the Amazon rain forest, Nile Valley and Southeast Asia. .. Disney special effects shine here as you spot robotic hippos and elephants that spray water. You can also see zebras, lions and giraffes. At first sight they do look real. You have to look again and squint to see that they are not. They move and cavort like the real thing, though. This ride last only 10 minutes. It is worth it and guarantees a few chuckles from kids to older folks.
It’s a Small World is definitely a Disney classic ride and the song will not leave your head after riding it! You will enter a small boat and then it will take you through the attraction of singing and dancing dolls. This is not one of my favorites but I find myself riding it every time I go. T..he kids like it and it’s a great place to cool off, sit down and relax for 10 minutes.
The Haunted Mansion is a fun ride that is sure to bring many laughs and also many goosebumps! You will travel through the scary mansion with many ghosts lurking through and of course the one little hitchhiker that will board with you at the end of the ride! You will ride with one or two other peopl..e, or alone if you dare! You get into the transportation device and go deeper and deeper into the mansion and more and more ghosts lurk and many scarier scenes occur. This is a great family ride that is more funny than scary!
The Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin was one of my family's favorite ride in the Magic Kingdom. There are 2 laser cannons in each car and you can control the direction of the car with the control knob which is easy to move. The object of the ride is to rack up as many points as possible in order t..o save the galaxy. By turning the car into different directions, you have the opportunity to shoot as many targets as possible. The score is calculated automatically on your car and at the end of the ride. This is not a fast ride and the cars may actually stop occasionally which allows you to enjoy the scenes and shoot at the targets.
Having been to Disney World many times since I was but a young kid, I can honestly say that I never tire of any of their rides. One of them that I can count on enjoying, along with many others, is the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It's a terrific ride and it's not the type of attraction that would ..leave the average person feeling woozy or sick afterwards. The surroundings on this particular ride will make you feel like you're actually in the old west, surrounded by nothing but sand and boulders. I would highly recommend this ride, as I make sure not to miss it every time I visit.
